The following Term & conditions apply to customers of NamibNow.Travel packages. NamibNow.Travel is a wholly owned subsidiary of AfricaNow.Travel
Welcome to NamibNOW.travel. By booking an experience with us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms govern your booking, payment, cancellations, refunds, and general responsibilities during your holiday experience.
2.1. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
2.2. The remaining balance (50%) is due no later than 30 days before the safari start date.
2.3. For bookings made within 30 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2.4. Payment can be made via bank transfer or secure online payment options provided by email.
2.5. Failure to make full payment within the specified time may result in cancellation without a refund of the deposit.
3.1. Cancellation by the Guest:
- More than 60 days before travel – 90% refund of the deposit.
- Between 30-60 days before travel – 50% refund of the total payment.
- Less than 30 days before travel – No refund.
- No refunds will be provided for no-shows or early departures.
3.2. Cancellation by NamibNow.Travel:
- If we need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, park closure), guests will be offered an alternative date.
- If the holiday is interrupted due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., force majeure), refunds will not be issued, but we will endeavour to offer reasonable and available alternatives.
3.3. Changes & Rescheduling:
- Requests to reschedule a booking will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to an administration,booking and/or cancellation fees.
4.1. Guests are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance, covering cancellations, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and personal liability.
4.2. NamibNow.travel shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, illness, or accident during the holiday.
4.3. Guests participate in all activities at their own risk, and adherence to the safety instructions provided by guides is mandatory.
5.1. Guests must ensure they are in good health and fit for safari activities. Certain medical conditions should be disclosed prior to booking.
5.2. Guests must follow all park rules, including no littering, no feeding wildlife, and no exiting vehicles in non-designated areas.
6.1. All itineraries are subject to change due to factors such as weather conditions, park regulations, and wildlife movements.
6.2. NamibNow.travel reserves the right to adjust activities without prior notice if required for guest safety or due to operational reasons.
6.3. Requests for specific wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
7.1. Accommodation is provided as per the selected package and is subject to availability.
7.2. Any special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions, room preferences) should be communicated at the time of booking. While we will endeavour to meet requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
7.3. Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the property due to negligence or misconduct.
8.1. NamibNow.travel may take photographs or videos during the safari for marketing purposes. If guests do not wish to appear in promotional material, they should notify us in writing before their trip.
8.2. Guests are welcome to take photographs but must adhere to park regulations, including respecting wildlife and other guests' privacy.
9.1. Any complaints should be reported immediately to the guide or lodge staff or AfricaNow.Travel representative to allow for resolution during the trip.
9.2. If a resolution cannot be reached, formal complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the safari ending.
9.3. Disputes shall be resolved under South African law.
